the feeling is really sucky when you cannot be yr real selfcannot do things as much as you want because of some really insignficant thingsdoing some stuff that i would never wanted to dowhen things are getting better latelynow things seem to be resuming back to worst againi am really sick and tired of this alreadysometimes i wonder why is heaven so unfairbut life is never fairthe day when i can relieve this will make me really really relieved and happycoming busy week. so not looking forward to the week. long hours in school and five days week. 2 proposals and 1 tutorial yet to be completed.

this post is rather incoherent. random thoughts flowing through my mind. i feel lazy to organise my thoughts at this point of time.
this sem really sucks cos my lessons most end at 6pm and this time not much opportunities to skip lessons or go out and i am always stuck in the bus standing throughout the journey, made worst by the terrible traffic jams. i still haven't sat on the double deckered bus after three weeks of school. i seriously don't understand why they do not send these bigger capacities buses during peak hrs instead of weird timings. what's the point of making it double deckered then?
i need more time. many things to do, time seems to be too short. how i wish time will stop now. i am feeling so tired reaching home everyday although i didn't do much. deadlines to meet next week when i haven't started on anything. gosh. i am such a procrastinator. better start tmr.
its really scary that when we are talking about someone, and within the day the person actually appeared in front of you. this happened not only once. omg. karma.
i am craving for ice cream badly =(

nothing much interesting this week. juz a quick summary.
meetups with sheryl and zizi. talking to bel recently made us reminised so much about our handbells days, despite the really tough training and staying back almost everyday during performances period, we still miss those days. even bel's sis is in bells now and she's in the same position as her, and they still kept their batch's treasurer book, which is really heartening as it's passed down generations to generations instead of just throwing it away. it's good that bel, lena and mel are in fass now, which means we can organise handbells outing in school one day.
fs august babies dinner at thai express and chilling out at istana park with the cloudless, starless and moonless sky but ended well with the nice 'patriotic' backdrop in the pic below. fs fund raising. breakfast with the usuals. celebrating daddy's bdae with dim sum. a pity poor daddy was sick on his birthday. get well soon daddy.

i really like this photo esp the lighting effects.
have been dreaming lately, no idea why, probably not sleeping well. but i had the most hilarious dream i ever had so far associated with michael phelps. bleah. this is what happens after watching too much olympics.
its cosy to juz lazing around my sofa and read something that interests you quietly especially in the cool weather nowadays. i wondered why i kept procrastinating to go to library only after such a long while. kinda regretting it but i shall read them as leisure for now before i get busy.
i still can't get over the fact that it has been 2 months since i came back from thailand. sigh. bring me back to thailand. looking forward to four more mths =)

feels weird to roam around the school being a year 2. the first day of sch ended up forgetting many of the locations of our LTs. my memory has failed me after three mths. but its good seeing my juniors and other familiar faces around in school =)
broke my sandals at the central forum at the almost exact same spot as where salt has broken her sandals last year. ended up buying this cheapest and ugly pair of slippers which i wouldn't imagine myself wearing it anymore again. but i am thankful that the bazaar saved me otherwise i donno what to do.
olympics is so exciting. i love watching swimming, gymnastics, diving etc etc. been hooked on the television lately. female gymnastics really got me hooked on throughout the entire finals. particularly like the china and usa girls esp shawn johnson, kexin. really admire how flexible their bodies and their good balances. michael phelps is really good, keep breaking records and winning medals. table tennis finally got singapore a medal. it was such a close fight but nonetheless they fought well =)

today's a nice number day.
080808started the day great by having a nice breakfast with the bishan-tp gang before hanging out with roomie at bugis-marina square =)
last week of holidays. the three mths holidays seem to have flew by so quickly that i cannot feel it. somehow, i feel that the time spent in singapore seems faster than that in thailand. i cannot believe that one mth plus is over. but i guess this holiday was one of the most fufilling and enjoying period of the year.
being independent for the first time away from parents in thailand. really wanna thank them for trusting and allowing me to go away from home for a mth. before asking them, i thought that my request would be rejected rightaway. yays. they also agreed to let me go on holiday with my friends alone in dec! can't wait for it. thanks daddy mummy =)
got to make great friends during fs and enjoyed myself thoroughly everyday there. despite initial apprehension and worries, i never regretted this decision. time spent in singapore and genting were also lovely. spent most of my holiday slacking and meeting up with my favourites, baking, catching my hk dramas with my favourite actors and actresses. also making new friends at work was good as well. they are really nice people, making me feel welcomed. thanks to the best chatting partner mesh, slacking partners jun and kf, enthu derek and desmond and not forgetting the friendliest coordinator carolyn who has a tough job. i miss braddell alot =(
its through working in weirdest locations you can ever imagine that you get to learn new things from a different perspective. after mingling and chatting with the workers working there, i learn from a deeper level how much their jobs demand them despite how simple their job may look. that's the service line i guess, having to embrace a happy smile to all your customers no matter how bad or pissed off you may be with that customer. its not an easy job. i have tried it myself before. you can see how some rich people will look down on you at times. you can even see people pumping five dollars worth of petrol when their cars are like super nice and big. this was the most interesting thing i observed. apparently, its not unusual according to the workers. despite breathing in tons of fumes, it was still a unique experience =)
i guess i have to treasure the upcoming holidays since i know these are the last couple of years you get to enjoy privileges as a student having holidays compared to the future us working our lives away with hardly any holidays to look forward to.
on the note of national day tmr, i miss singing national day songs with everyone during national day celebrations in secondary school. the atmosphere is always so warm where everyone sings the songs heartedly. i do like the older versions of national day songs, they are far more catchy than the recent versions which i can hardly rmb. those were the days. although i usually don't bother watching ndp on tv, for the sake of spotting madam on tv, i shall attempt to watch =)
the thought of squeezing in the crowded bus to school in the coming week onwards does not make me look forward to school at all.
yesterday is history
tomorrow is a mystery
today is a gift
