its amazing how different songs, things and places always bring about memories whatever you have gone through throughout your lifetime. the memories may be sad or happy and you think back on times. you realised how things have changed and relive the happy memories you once shared with the people. different songs really can change my mood and make me think of certain things whenever i hear them.
sometimes i wish i will never grow up forever. everyone around me who are in their mid-twenties are telling me how fast time will fly the moment you hit the digit 2. the real world seems so intimidating and complicated that i do not know whether i can survive as i grow up. real stories of how people backstab one another, do the worst thing you can imagine to get rid of you underlying their innocent smiles, have ulterior motives by getting close to you etc etc. looks are really deceiving.
now its the time to treasure the last few mths of being a teen. like what twin and i always say, we are always wondering whether we have changed in character-wise over the years. this is one question that i am trying to answer and figure out but which i cannot really give an answer to myself. but i guess there will definitely be some minor changes as we grow up, which we may not notice. if i were to change, i truly hope i will change to be a better, stronger person.
school is starting soon and i am really dreading it.

one month juz flew by without me realising. i actually spent my time juz slacking around and going out during this period. good time does flies. i miss field studies. thanks sandra =)
good cq ron dinner yesterday. today was spent with madam: window shopping; people watching, eating this thai char kuay tiao which was rather spicy; playing arcade games and watching people practically winning bags of soft toys. pastamania dessert. its back to work coming few days. finally got to settle on what modules to take. finally i stopped my retail therapy and start saving money and looking forward to year-end trip =)
malaysia with the relatives during the weekends!
dreamt of handbells practices
juz like before
but still i do miss it
still rmb the hectic and multiple practices
at the end it was always worth it
when everything comes tgt
i am glad to be once part of it =)

work has been quite fun apart from breathing in exhaust fumes. we slacked, we chionged, we were desperate at times and anyhow everything. initially was apprehensive since the people knew one another except me as i took up the job alone. but they were rather friendly when i got to know them the first day and i got to know some peeps such as kamesh through working with her. we could click rather well and ended up talking nonsense non-stop until we have to force ouselves to focus on our work at certain points of time, giving hand signals quietly behind the person when we succeeded everytime to express our happiness, whined non-stop when we kept getting rejected at certain times, counting down to the end of work, ended our week at this location with siewmai.
you can really feel the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. really thankful for the great company, otherwise i can imagine the boredom of working. hopefully more opportunities to work tgt in the coming weeks. nonetheless a big thanks to dearest salt and roomie for working with me on the first day too =)
this week was great with the company of thai food and snacks we ate and bought although i still miss my cp sausages still. i am dreading the thought of sch starting plus all the bidding and modules headache coming towards me again. still, looking at this cute little green witch never fails to make me smile =)
i donno why you always want to do things this way does it really make you happy

life is really unpredictable
it happened so sudden and unexpected
you never know what is going to happen next
another reminder to treasure the ones you have
rest in peace i will keep you in my prayers it is heartening to realise that there are some whom you may seldom talk to, who may be the least expected to care about you, actually sense that you may face some problems, attempt to reach out to you and express words of concern. thanks alot.

happy week. shall summarise this week with some photos since i have the time.
mon:
outing with madam who finally stopped working! yays. coincidentally pinkish day.bubble tea. accessories shopping. its a boy and girl thing movie where i CQed as i didn't had my usual jacket, wearing shorts and without contacts lens. thankfully i could see and it wasn't that cold. dinner at pastamania with alfredo, curry chix and banana choc pizzas. we were terribly bloated after the meal. be glad that i am gonna specially switch on the tv on ndp day to attempt to spot you on camera. hahas.
tues:
finally met up with twin! heart-to-heart talks. slacking and updates at macs. icecream waffles. chilling out at esplanade's rooftop.pretty ferriswheel colours. a pity it was a cloudy day without stars. i miss the clouds in thailand.how i wish time would stop there. dear girl, let's be optimistic okay, things will get better and rmb i am always a phonecall away when you need a listening ear =)))
wed:
planet earth outing at salt's house with a sad ending of that episode. dinner at lorong eight hawker where i couldn't find my hk mee shop =(
thurs:
i was good and stayed at home. mum has been complaining that i haven't been eating dinner at home these few weeks. hence, i decided to be good and stay home for dinner. nevertheless, i do miss homecooked food.
friday:
macs breakfast with karen at our usual breakfast hangout before she leaves for australia next week! tried mcgriddles for the first time and i think its not bad probably cos i like hotcakes and sausage muffins. yays breakfast never fails to start my day feeling happy. thanks girl for finding time in yr super tight schedule to go breakfast with me!
afternoon met up with tongyan and tianyun plus my newfound friend, jerilyn who is their friend.hahas but anyway we had teatime at hk cafe where i ate peanut tangyuans in almond cream! while in the bookstore, i was quite happy to be reading magazines there. its been a long time since i last did that. i think i shall drag myself to the library and borrow some books/magazines soon. to think of it, despite haven't been seeing them for about a year, its heartwarming at how we can still talk like before. fs dinner at v8 cafe and mango dessert at ice monster after that.
anw its the durian season, my mum has already bought durians twice this week and everyone around me seems to be eating durians. a couple of my friends are gonna have durian parties.omg. as much as i love durians, juz like how i like chocolates, i will rather eat them in small quantities rather than so many at one shots although its a nice feeling to eat something you really enjoy. sheryl, please bake durian puffs for me soon =(
somehow, everytime i read one of my friend's blog and hear her blog song, it will remind me of my pri-jc days in school, esp sec sch days whereby we will sing songs during chapels tgt every week, the words had special meanings and brought about different types of emotions everytime we sang. although i am not a christian, still i somehow missed the times we spent singing with yr fellow friends, you can feel the bond you attached to the school and it really brings about many memories like juniors passing letters secretly during lessons. sitting at the back of the class slacking with the company, chatting inside the toilets etc etc these are the little things that i will always rmb in my heart. those were the days.
heard that PL musical is on sat. a pity i am not going for it cos i didn't know about it until karen told me earlier on. four years have passed juz like tat, i rmbed the last musical was good. it was good reminising of our good old days in PL with karen that day. we never regretted making that choice. it was a right decision afterall despite initial worries. i miss PL alot.
while sorting out my fs photos and putting some in my photo album, i was at the same time glancing through my pri-uni photos and neoprints and realised how much everyone has grown over the years. i am really thankful and glad to meet all of my besties these few weeks! thanks people for being here all these while. some of you have been there for me during my darkest moments, hearing me cry or rant my unhappiness whether in person or on the phone, thanks for being there and really understanding me despite being in difficult positions at times. simple actions such as words of encouragements or juz being there when i needed a listening ear really touches my heart. i cannot imagine life without them, no one to turn to when i am sad or happy. they are the ones whom i can rant my unhappiness and happiness and end my day happy =)
got a part time job beginning next week. hopefully can recoup some of my negative income. hopefully it will be okay.
money may be important in fufilling most of our desires but money can never buy happiness

outing at chinatown with the BABAs, away from the usual crowded places. began with kbox, hokkien mee dinner at the newly renovated hawker which i haven't visited for very long cum dessert time at the nice nice shop, which i forgot the name. bleahx. somehow, i miss singapore food as i walk around the super big hawker, everything seems to be nice and i almost ended up getting trapped in the maze. i am so gonna try the durian tangyuans at the stall there the next time i visit it.
outings with BAOs for two consecutive days for buying present and DIY birthday surprise for partner on friday. i feel a sense of achievement. this is actually my first visit to town (orchard area) ever since i came back from singapore. i really hate the crowds there, making me feel uncomfortable and the stuff there are rather pricey too. its been a really long while since i last met up with BAOs. had our usual jap lunch at ichiban cum french ice cream as a cake cum taking nice photos on the rooftop with the RAINBOW UMBRELLA we got her cum slacking at esplanade.
fs dinner gathering at daniel's house and supper with the northies ended the week good as well =)
the modules coming sem doesn't seem to be good esp the exam timetable. sigh i think i have to end up having close exam timings as much as i don want but i rather take something i am interested than juz take something for the sake of exams, which i probably end up no interest in studying. hopefully its a right choice. was really blur about uni requirements actually, usual me being a lazy bum. thanks to all that helped to clear up my doubts. modules definitely spoiled my mood for that night.
being a sweet tooth glutton and hungry always, my reluctant mum and i made simple muffins to satisfy my cravings for muffins. i think it wasn't fantastic but alright, rooms for improvements the next round! i think i am easily satisfied especially sweet desserts. recently, knowing that that there is morning cereal as my breakfast will make me look forward to the next day every morning, which is a good start since i will start the day feeling happy. i think food makes me happy =)))
widsom tooth seems to be growing out. it hurts but i really don't want it to cont'd growing, i don't wanna pluck it out.
once again, watching the video that big alvin made for FS reminded me of FS days all over again. i miss the freedom, fun, laid-back environment etc that i had with the company. things aren't gonna be the same over anymore even if i return to thailand, since the company, the things we will do etc will all be different despite being in the same setting. can only browse through the photos and relive the pleasant times we had at that point of time in my mind.

this week was fun and fufilling. but i am really broke. i think i need a job soon at this rate i am going.
met up with karen deary for lunchie at pizza hut on tues, busy updating each other lives. we were chased away while trying to take photos at our usual arcade place. apparently photo-taking was banned from now on after they renovated the place. so sad. but its really new and j8, at least the upstairs look quite different after not visiting it for a couple of mths. we make good shopping and snacking partners! ended up going bugis, shopping and stopping for snacks every now and then with temptations from bugis to city hall. i will miss her when she goes back to australia again =(((
evening rushed off to meet desmond and wilfred to go bbq at chalet costa resort with my ex-colleagues. saw quite a few peeps i haven't got to see for veri long though some others whom i wanted to see hasn't came by the time i had to leave. bbq was quite fun, and i think i ate like many many sticks of hotdogs and satays and marshmellows, the usual food. and i finally got to eat pineapple rice which i didn't even ate in thailand at all.
wed was prata outing at pratahouse but i didn't eat prata plus drinks session at liquid kitchen with the fs peeps. today its the first day since i came back from thailand tat i haven felt hungry during the wee hours. walking by the stretch of shophouses in thomson brought me back memories of thailand =(
thurs was macs dinner with madam at last! poor madam lost her wallet yesterday but not as serious as mine where it was worth so much money. i still rmbed vividly abt one year ago i lost my wallet and broke down during work. time flies.
friday afternoon went out rather last min to meet up with desmond for lunchie before his head goes bald in a couple more days. he introduced me to this thai restaurant which reminded me of my thai days. i ordered the dishes that i usually ate in thailand like pat thai, thai iced tea (omg i miss the taste), glass noodles, mango sticky rice and asparagus. the staff are rather friendly and the food prices are reasonable, after we compared with places like thai express etc. i like the place and i think i will go back again as it reminds me of my thai days again. then we went to buy his toy while i sort of became a 'tourist' in singapore, exploring places that are hardly know. we made a big round, walking from city hall to this really nice office building (looks like hotel and we went there for toilets!) which i cannot rmb the name to haji lane ( i didn't know there were clothes!) to kampong glam to little india to new lasselle arts school ( i didn't know its open to public we explored from top to bottom levels) to sim lim to bugis to suntec city to marina square and finally back to city hall. think we walked quite a long dist, and at least i didn't feel really tired which is good! yays. i love walking, can enjoy the scenery and take your time to think of things as well.
then evening i was back in city hall to finally meet my BABAs for dinner! waited super super long for the jap marche and we shared rosti, jap curry rice and waffle ice cream. its been so long since i last ate marche. but the attitude of some waitresses were quite bad. anw we randomly came up with a slogan for ourselves, which is BUDGETIC, FUNTASTIC, YUMMLICIOUS. yays our future outings muz live up to our reputation.hahas. esp since we are poor and lazy kids. bleahx.
people i met always ask how does one mth being immersed in thailand inculcates such a change in me that made me miss thailand so much! i really do, its quite hard to explain. the food, the scenery, the people etc. ever since i returned to singapore, my appetite has increased alot, esp. in the night, i will start to get hungry and missing my CP sausages! i think i really need to apologise to my fellow peeps as i may start speaking thai in between my conversations with you guys which may have made you all feel blur, cos i am too used to using phrases like 'may chay' and i like to talk about thailand in my conversations lately etc... so sorry! i am juz too used to it, and i cannot believe its almost two weeks since i last returned to singapore. furthermore, i rmbed saying i don't really enjoy thai food before i left singapore for thai, upon coming, i think i do love thai food- not the spicy ones though, but most are more sour than spicy and i still love some dishes nonetheless. now, i think i wouldn't mind going to eat thai food in singapore.
still, the week ended really good! somehow, i miss macs breakfast and i want to try mcgriddles! this is a happy week as i managed to meet up a few of my happy pills. loves=)
