so fast one week flew past before we knew it again!
anyway there's nothing much to blog about my sch life now since its pretty boring talking about it.
met up with darling wy and grace after school today! went for the comex fair first to take a look around. it was crowded as usual. headed off for lunch at iciban (donno how to spell the place), haha it was a japanese restaurant that i hadn't tried before and it was not bad. satisfied our cravings for ice cream too! haha. window-shopped around marina square but didn't manage to get anything though. great time spent with them =)
i hope my laptop will arrive soon so that i can start playing with it.hahas.

this week zoomed by so fast that we could hardly feel it. wanted this week to pass slower cos i don want next week to arrive cos tutorials are kicking in and there's so much readings to do that i haven't done so.
i think my readings can be piled up to be a mountain soon. not tat i dread it, but issues on politics and stuff isn't interesting or understandable at times. getting lost in lectures is not an unusual phenomenon for me now.
hopefully this weekend will not pass so fast.
thurs was spent with madam in school. we finally ordered our laptops today and we had to wait another three weeks before the stock would come. that is like so long. ate at subway first time in the sch compound today and it was crispy and a good value deal though. due to my long break, madam accompanied me chatting in the food court after tat followed by exploring my faculty. climbing of stairs is indeed a torture.
it was daddy's birthday today also! really glad to have a great dad. thanks for everything! always trying to accomodate with my requests despite difficulties. i really appreciate it alot =)
fri. salt me fengyi went to ntu to crash liwen's hostel! never been there before so its quite a good experience to visit. apart from the six storeys of spiralling stairs to reach her room, the school was fine. we took a shuttle around the compound and the buildings are indeed much nicer than us. how i wish this was my school too. ate waffle at the canteen and it was really nice and crispy, cos i didn't expect anything great from a normal waffle u can get in any bakery. it was better than i expected.hahas. bought a pair of scandals today too =)

finally the week has come to an end. first week of school was only lectures but then it was bad enough. hahas. was awaiting for today to arrive so that i can meet up with pple whom i haven't met for long. the number of readings that we have to do are like never ending, whoever said uni life would be much easier than jc. it is so untrue looking at the way things are going now.
anyway met up with darling wy and grace for lunch at ms clarity cafe. finally found the place and tried their food. it was alright, and the amazing thing was i drank some vegetable soup and the person assumed i will eat salads when it was not meant for me but for grace. lol. all of us were laughing cos i hardly ate salads lol. they were continuously making fun of my names calling me 'ali' and sorts of weird stuff haha quite funny. bought sweets along the way and walked around suntec, bugis and marina. oops and i 'electrocuted' wy many many times today! so sorry girl haha didn't mean it. blame it on my skin. lol.
after tat met up with madam for dinner at nydc. we had baked rice and yummy irish cream mudpie! yay was bloated after the meal. had a long chat after not catching up with each other for so long already. all the gossips, rantings and catching up with one another's lives were good. hahas. she became so much tanner like a malay lol. after dinner, we went shopping for her sis's present and a fast shopping spree before shops closed ard town area. both of us managed to get a top. it's been so long since i last shopped and it felt quite good to get something once a while =)
i am so gonna miss their company during school days.
i am quietly hoping time passes slower this weekend so that i can take a break and rest. i guess i will be looking forward to fridays every week.

so school started for two days already. luckily its only lectures.
today's lecture ended one hr early and it was nothing much. shldn't have gone school for one hour. sian. its true that some canteens the food are rather inedible. quite a terrible experience for the first try. luckily heard my fac's canteen is one of the best.hope its true.
in order to eat our meals at the canteen, we muz climb about five flights of stairs to reach. our stomachs may starve next time. by the time we walk down back we guess our food would have digested. lol.
my timetable is terrible.
did i mention i hate travelling to school. bus arrival times are unpredictable and the journey is rather long. sigh.
perhaps i will start hanging out at holland village next time and our bus passes by island creamy! yay hope can go eat there sometime too.
i can't wait to meet up with the rest on fridays =)

so tmr is the start of school day for me after a long eight mths break we had which is probably the best time of my life doing things that we always wanted. this period, we are in the middle of nowhere, not being committed to being a student or a full time worker like the adults whom held much more responsibilities.
eight mths juz flew by so quickly we hardly notice. the year is coming to a end soon which is scary since it seemed like it was just yesterday. i am going to get older by end of this year. yet, i am glad to have fun with my closer bunch of friends and made new friends while working as well. they are the pple whom cheer me up when i am down and listen to my rantings when i am upset. although everyone is gonna live their lives differently when school starts, i hope this friendship will still continue.
school officially starts tmr. i guess i muz get used to sleeping much lesser. hope i wont' fall asleep during lectures after so long. hahas. my lectures timetable already isn't good at all with one day ending like at night. omg. hopefully sch starts off right.
on a lighter note, salt will still be my companion for lectures and hopefully tutorials! glad to have her ard me once again, we can go home and sch tgt. i am thankful for someone like her who has similar interests as me too =)

sch has been a hassle for me with all the administration stuff you have to do before sch starts. plus my lost documents like ic and replacement and stuff is driving me nuts.
wasted trip to school cos i can't buy a laptop apparently because i lost my matric card. have to wait for it before i can buy it. i guess i am the first in my batch to lose it. not like i wanted. sigh.
bidding for modules was quite troublesome also, having to think carefully and bid for it. luckily got wat i wanted but the next session on mon may be more scary.
dinner with salt, val and dawn at amk hub for pepper lunch eating my usual beef rice. hahas. catch up session there for a while and walking around.
one more week of enjoyment before lectures start. gonna fully enjoy myself.
