so the weekends are here again.this week past quite fast, perhaps because i didn't go school for two days which makes the week shorter.hahas.
friday was spent meeting up with twin and catching up with each other after not talking to each other for rather long since step down of cca. it is great to talk crap and update on each other's lives. had tea time at tcc cafe at plaza. i didn't even know it existed though until twin brought me there. hahas. the place was so cold that my fingers were numb!lol.
today was spent with madam!yays. may be watching lakehouse with her next week.hahas.today was my turn to be sick while the past two weeks it was madam who was sick. we take turns. my throat hurts for no reason, bad sore throat indeed. great company with her. one who can understand me and i can talk almost anything with. catching up with her is also great cos we are not in the same school =)
having people whom i can share my burdens with are definitely important in my life. i am glad i have some people by my side that i can lean against so that i won't feel depressed and stressed when i am faced with problems. i am thankful for these friends who are by my side. thanks for making my life better. without you people, my life will be dull and boring.
anyway since the differentiated geog lesson began, my school days are longer than usual. somehow, i don't feel like going to school anymore. feel so lazy.

a busy day indeed
woke up early in the morning to go to salt's house to prepare food for the children's home we were going for service learning. had much fun and we were at first flustered on how to cook certain stuff as we were a greenhorn.hahas. fengyi was the chief chef for deep frying fries, liwen the chief chef for the pancake and dawnie the chief chef for the roti prata! hahas. i assisted fengyi since i am lousy in cooking stuff.lol. at least today i learnt how to use a deep frying machine!interesting though =)
then we left to meet the rest of classmates in school to take a chartered bus to the children's home in serangoon way. a unfortunate thing: my nose started to bleed profusely. so scary. almost thought i am going to see doctor until the nurse did some miracle on me! thanks alot! the moment she came, my bleeding almost stopped. i think i pressed the wrong part of the nose. wonder why my nose vessel is so brittle. sigh.
anyway after that was tuition with the children there. i was assigned to these two girls whom were unfriendly at first sight. tried to talk to them initially but they didn't replied or talked to me. i was kind of sad and i really didnt' know how to interact with them. luckily, after a while when i tried teaching them, they began to talk to me more and they were actually not that bad. perhaps i was a stranger to them. taught them english which i am rather poor at.
realised that not every children have a nice childhood from the rest of us. some of them may have different family backgrounds that make them having different attitudes compared to the rest. i feel fortunate and thankful to have a family where i grew up happily at least. nowadays, primary school students may not be that innocent afterall, seeing that they actually know of alot of stuff that i may not even have known when i was young. hmmmx. perhaps times has changed. we should be thankful for whatever blessings we are bestowed with and not whine always. we must remember there are always people who are less fortunate than us.
during play time, a few of us played basketball with those two girls i tutored. they were quite good and we lost!hahas. we were watching the small boys playing soccer, with some naked boys. there were quite a few cute, good looking boys though! lol.
i am so tired now. perhaps we will go back and help out next time.

it was not only today
tried my best to be nice to you on your special day
but u chose to be mean to ppl around u, not only me
i really can't take it but what u are doing is wrong
why can't u understand the feelings of people around u?
people do things to try to make u happy today
but u chose to make everyone angry without considering their feelings
why must u always do that. i really wonder.
does it really make you happier?
hope u do not take things things and ppl around u for granted anymore
i am really tired
perhaps keeping in silence would be the best solution
i really donno what to do
perhaps it is my fault at times
but can't we be like in the past? sometimes when i see others, i will envy them
it is saddening that things turn out this way
perhaps i changed?
i donno. sigh.
really hope things will change for the better one day

school was declared half day today due to our achievements this year.
good thing was meeting bao pple! before that, i went to get the balloons for our first surprise for amelia. i was super embarrassed holding the two huge balloons walking around when it was supposed to make amelia embarrassed holding it.hahas.furthermore i purposely got her two bright colours which she dislikes, pink and purple.
then met up with amelia, sheryl and zi at plaza sing. was so happy to pass the balloons to amelia!hahas. she was forced to carry it on her bag.lol. walked around then we went to take neoprints! long time since i last took.
after that, we went to cafe cartel to eat our dinner there as well as giving her a second surprise of a birthday cake we got for her after dinner with a candle! yays. our acting skills were so great that she didn't realised and i think she got a shock.hahas.

treasuring every opportunity and chance that i have to meet up with them and catch up with one another's lives! we may not need to see each other often, yet our understanding and the essence of our friendship built up over the years has seen us through. love them lots =)

yesterday was the official stepping down ceremony. passed down our respective positions to the juniors.
congrats to yijia, taking over my position. thanks for guiding me all this while as i am quite weak. you are a great junior! jia you and do even better than me for your future batch as well. hope you like the cute thing i got for you!hahas.
congrats to another section junior sophie too! the one who has the same birthday as me.hahas. so coincident. i know two people who share the same birthday in different years. great knowing you as well. hope you learn my instrument fast ya! you can do it =)
of course, congrats to the rest of the committee 2006, hope you all achieve greater heights!
there was a small party today where people brought food. surprised that the juniors did quite alot of things for us. there was the nice cookie with our names on it, and a membership card (so unique), and they bought canadian pizza too! thanks alot pple! i guess i will miss many of them.
went out after that with twin to go for some studying at bras brasah macs which i have no idea where is it.hahas. met hoi ning there! haven't seen her for so long! luckily we still recognised each other. after tat, went down for shopping to get twin's bag at bugis.
finally, after many many weeks of consideration, twin finally made up her mind and got herself a BACKPACK!lol. yays! i think its nice twin =) hahas.
met up with madam today. this time, it was my turn to lose something in the same place as last year when madam lost her hp then. i lost the orange pouch that she gave me. this is really an unlucky place and full of thiefs around?hahas.must be more careful next time esp at this particular place.

had sort of the last practice with my juniors today. saturday will be the handover ceremony. i guess i will start to miss the music, my instrument and all my friends there.
anyway someone just told me something related to deaths today. suddenly, a feeling of sadness overwhelmed me. remembered that my primary 5-6 classmate passed away when i was in secondary school. she was only so young, yet she died of leukiema and had to endured so much suffering. still remembered when i first heard it from my friend over the phone, i started crying on the phone and was very sad. i really didn't expect such a thing to happen to her. the girl who just sat behind me in class, always making me laugh and having fun with her was gone. she was a super nice and cheerful girl and i still remembered the gathering she organised at her place where we had so much fun, esp playing the water bombs. time flies, it has been almost five years since she passed away. her autograph for me is still with me and there were so many nice stickers that she pasted for me! somehow, i really miss her laughter, her cheerful face and her =(
i really hope she is happy wherever she may be now. the nice memories that i shared with her will always be in my heart.
this reminded me that we must not take everyone around us for granted. life is always so unpredictable. anything can happen anytime. should try to treasure everyone around me and treasure every moment i have with them as one never knows what will happen in the future.

so today was the finals of world cup match 2006!ITALY WON!
managed to wake up and catch the entire match until penalty. omg. wanted france to win but italy won eventually! they were rather good, esp. their corner kicks. good header. the penalty was so scary. but i was thinking if zidane had not knocked down the italy guy and got sent off, and henry was not substituted and got to kick the penalty also, france could have tied up with italy and perhaps even win the cup!lol.
was msging grace, twin and amelia about the match throughout the match, esp grace who was supporting italy.hahas.
time flies. about four weeks of world cup has ended. countless staying up to watch these matches will be over for now. it will feel weird. another four years more. that's very long. anyway i hope brazil can get back the world cup trophy in 2010. i will continue supporting them!hahas.
managed to catch about 3 hours plus of sleep only. wondered how i even managed to survive through school today. in the end, gp was cancelled and i had no econs. should have juz stayed at home like amelia.lol. but ended up we went out to ps for lunch before coming back for physics lecture which was super unproductive as i don't understand the topic at all.
went home feeling physically tired but mentally still quite awake. legs felt very heavy while walking home. i think by tonight i will juz fall asleep. it seems weird that i am supposed to feel very sleepy and tired now but apparently i am still not. juz don't feel like doing anything right now...i think i shall go sleep...

didn't wanted to watch soccer last night as i was too tired. but twin was saying oliver kahn was playing and i should watch at least a while.hahas. so i decided to watch since i didn't see him play for a long time during this world cup. was msging amelia and twin during the match discussing...lol. but i eventually couldn't take it and fell asleep halfway!
amelia's live updates for me, but i was so asleep that i didn't even hear my phone vibrating. lol. thanks girl. heard from them they played better for second half and i missed it! argh.sigh.at least germany won and i heard kahn played very well yesterday! hahas.
tonight is a must watch although apparently there's school on the same morning. but since this is four years once, i shall sacrifice my sleep.hahas.so jealous that some schools like madam's and angela's schools are allowing them to go school later than usual for world cup sake!angela's school is even showing it in school! so good.
italy and france are quite good. hard to tell who will win. but i hope france will win =)

shopping with twin yesterday was fruitful until we were really very broke. saw lucinda and bernice toO! so coincident.hahas
we are really twins man. firstly, we smsed each other at the same time, receiving each other's msg before meeting. then we ended up wearing the same colour shirt! we have the same shoe size and similar tastes too.hahas. omg. and we have the same kind of life and many more things in common! can't believe it.
i bought two tops and one slipper! yays. happy! but we walked until my legs were aching like mad from afternoon to late at night until most shops were closed.
met up with wenmin for more shopping today! walked even longer today. more than seven hours without stopping. my legs are going to break seriously.hahas.
tmr is school and it feels weird. luckily its my early day =)

stayover at sheryl's house on friday was great!
met up with amelia to go walk walk at kovan before meeting sheryl who was not home yet.hahas.we were practically talking and walking aimlessly as most shops were closed. sometimes, although we never see each other for long, but talking to her just seems so naturally.
anyway germany vs argentina match was truly exciting for the second half onwards. first half was quite boring. sheryl is declared as the noisest!hahas. she screamed at her top of her voice so many times and jumped on the sofa esp when germany finally scored a goal. so funny. amelia and i have to calm her down. i think the whole house could hear her voice. but watching match with them was fun and nice =)
we tried watching the urkraine against italy but it was pretty boring so we were kind of bored and fell asleep on the sofa.
glad we finally gathered and met up again after not being in the same school with them for one year plus. i really missed them! love them lots =)
came home and continued sleeping before meeting madam for shopping at suntec and marina! walked for so long until my legs were aching and i still have two more shopping trips consecutively with twin later and wenmin tmr! omg. wonder whether my legs can tolerate. anw had swensons for dinner and yummy ice cream tempted by madam. eat until our stomachs were super full. then we went to the musical fountain to take a look since it was our first time. hahas. then went off to j8 for more shopping as madam didn't want to go home yet.
went uncle's house to watch england's match. england lost. sigh. i am very shocked that brazil lost the match to france. so saddening! but i think they are really underperforming for that match. haiz. i was so scared of brazil that twin and i were constantly msging hoping for miracle. but it didn't came. sigh. really disappointed with them.
however, i still will continue supporting brazil. hope they clinch the world cup 2010 the next season!
life without books and only shopping trips is great! but this won't last long. sigh. shall enjoy this short holiday well =)
