i feel like ranting everything out.lost my wallet today! the worst thing was all my important documents like my ic and atm were inside. furthermore i juz got my matriculation card and ezlink card which i juz activated and added money. resulted in losing everything within a day. sigh. was so depressed that i broke down when i realised it really went missing after my trip to the toilet which i last saw it.
how i wish i didn't take it out and i won't lose it. sigh. no point dwelling on it. although i still secretly hope for a small miracle that someone kind will return my nric to me asap. its a hassle to lose so many things and i have to report loss at different places and replace almost everything with extra cost somemore.
what an unlucky day i had. thanks for those who were present when i couldn't find my wallet and tried to help me search and accompany me to find though it was unsuccessful. my mood was really bad and thanks for those who tried to cheer me up to make me smile a little bit with swollen eyes and black face. feeling much better le.
shall not dwell about it anymore since i won't get it back unless miracle really happens.

this week was fruitful and fun too =)
sunday's dinner was spent with family eating sandwich and one of my favorite ice cream waffles! its hard to have a proper meal with my family since i am seldom at home, this time is precious to me =)
chalet with baos at aloha changi on monday.
started taking train with sheryl and amelia after our visit to nus for medical checkup. long journey filled with brainless games that we were trying to figure out the entire journey. the sheep, dog and color games made us laugh like hell and cracked our brains so hard and the answers were really lame and dumb.
lunch at tampines mall and later arcade playing games after the rest joined us. spent our time walking to changi village for dinner. getting caught in the heavy rain, window shopping at provision shops. seeing cute sweets and things i haven't eaten for a long time. seeing ants carrying our cuttlefish that we dropped on the floor to their ant hole and so many many ants gathering under our chairs was freaky. playing tai-di to bridge to spongebob monopoly to sleeping with sheryl on a queen size bed. glad i didn't kick her. our short talk on bed with a lizard we saw on the ceiling and some ants we spotted on bed before we slept that frightened us.
macs hotcakes for the next morning. broke one of my slippers, what a fateful day for such things to happen in an isolated part of singapore. ended up trying all kinds of methods to walk un-barefooted. started with pasting masking tape, ending up stuffing my slipper inside a plastic bag tying it around my leg and walking out feeling really weird.
cabbed with zi and amelia since i couldn't walk without my slippers. left for amelia's house to slack and watch ghost rider. amelia drove me home and lent me her life saving slippers. hahas. thanks to her or i would be really walking home barefooted.
met up with darling wy and grace for dinner on wed evening before everyone goes separate schools when school starts soon. it will be so much harder to meet up.
had pizza hut for dinner after a really long period since i last ate it. tried their new pizza speciality with a cheese dip and the pizza looks cool. we ate ocean dip flavour and it was quite yummy! but the soup felt weird and burnt.
headed off for dessert at swensons for our cravings for apple crumble! love it. ate it until we were bloated. everywhere was freezing cold. long nice chat with them talking about lots of stuff until it was almost closing that we decided to be nice kind souls and leave.haha.
i guess i will really miss the crazy things we have been doing during this holiday ranging from kite flying cum picnic cum steamboat outing at marina bay, kboxing, stayover during christmas at grace's house and even the simplest meet up for dinner despite our busy schedules.
thurs afternoon was spent with lunch with madam!
tried out of the pan which was place which sells crepes! shared duck and bacon crepes plus a mango cooler with her. it was nice and perhaps worth the more expensive prices. ended up i drank most of the mango cooler cos she don't like mango juices which is weird cos i love anything to do with mangoes.
guess we won't be meeting each other very often since orientation for her starts next week and after that everyone will be starting school. it will be harder to meet her. nonetheless, at least we are in the same school although our faculties are quite a distance away. i will miss the stayover we had, being forced to sit on a double decker bed at the second level when she knew i was scared of falling off the bed, the shopping trips we had, kboxing and our random outings we had during this holiday.
i am really thankful for the great bunch of closer friends whom i had and keeping in touch over this holiday doing crazy things that we wanted to try and hanging out with one another, keeping me from feeling bored. they are the ones whom understands me more and brighten up my days. sometimes i really wonder how things will be different if i didn't have friends like them. really hope things won't change when school starts in less than two weeks. i will really miss them alot.
time flies so quickly that i can't believe eight months juz flew by before i realised. this is the best time of our lives since we were borned is ending really soon. making full use of every single day left and playing hard. i wish time will standstill. wonderful times are always short.
on a random note, the bidding and modular system for uni is driving me crazy. i am lost and really confused over wat we are supposed to do. the instructions given don't seemed to be very clear to us. i need some kind souls to explain to me clearly to fully understand otherwise i will be super blur. sigh.

a busy and exciting week =)
tues:
had a last min kboxing outing with darling wy and grace at suntec city! as usual we sang for five hours but this time at the very end we were rather bored of singing haha. but it was still a great time spent with them =)
Wed:
stayover at madam's house was fun! started with watching tv and then we started to think of slack ccas we may join in uni. haha it was quite hilarous while browsing through the various ccas available. madam's great idea of intending to sleep at 10pm as we had to wake up early for qet the next day failed! haha. we ended up chatting on the bed till almost 1am before we fell asleep. had a heart to heart talk and talking about alot of stuff =)
thurs:
woke up very early as we had to go for qet test at nus. the bus stop was freaking crowded i guess almost half of the bus stop wanted to go nus. luckily we managed to squeeze up the crowded bus. qet test was alright, was crapping all the way since i haven't wrote an essay for almost more than half a year. the test was rather long, resulting in my butt being very pain while sitting. after that, rushed off to meet amelia and sheryl to get sheryl's pretty apple cookies that she baked yesterday! it was rather nice though a bit soft. the bus was once again so freaking crowded that we took a cab to mrt station. then i rushed to changi airport to meet clique to prepare and complete present for jo's farewell in the evening.
spent our time in bk doing the present which i thought was quite nice! liwen was super creative, how i wish i have such good talent too! gave jo a surprise after tat and bid farewell to her. everything was in a rush so we didn't get very emotional. she's the second one i knew whom is going to australia to study apart from karen whom has already left. hope they enjoy their experience overseas.
fri:
it was amelia's bdae! we intended to have a surprise at her house!
began with sheryl me fei zi taking a long time to decide a suitable present for amelia! we visited new urban male like four times and we were so embarrassed cos each time we went we didn't get anything. haha. ended up buying a converse shoe for her! the shoe is so pretty! then we went to get a chocolate brownie cake and headed to her house surprising her with a lighted candle with a pleasant birthday song we sang for her.
apparently she was surprised i guess. after eating the cake amelia drove her dad's car and we went around aimlessly firstly to sheryl's house to visit for a while before proceeding to thomson road for chocolate desserts. we took quite a while to figure out how to get there. we had choc ice cream there and it was pretty nice. yays. quite a fun experience and amelia drove me home after that =)
evening was spent with twin for dinner at nydc. i had cravings for their pasta! haha apart from the onions inside, it was fine making me bloated.
sch' starting in two weeks time is really running out. our enjoyment and freedom is about to end. i don't look forward for sch to start!

twin came to my house to stay over last night! it has been a really long time since someone came to my house to stayover! haha. it was quite a fun experience.intended to watch a couple of movies i downloaded online but ended up they couldnt' be opened! so disappointed luckily twin brought along some movies otherwise we will really be bored. we watched wedding planner and peter pan! ended up watching till about 5am before we went to bed.
woke up the next morning in time to play my piano and rush to j8 for macs breakfast! had our usual chat and we finally caught the transformers! it was rather nice i would say better!
ended up running in the heavy rain home and got myself all drenched. feeling abit giddy and i hope i don't get really sick. ended up not meeting the rest since i didn't feel well to go out.
on a lighter note, ms sheryl passed her driving test! yay i knew she could do it. super nervous before that.haha. yeah another person eligible to drive us around next time. congrats girl =)

met up with baos for harry potter at ps in the afternoon. the show was quite disappointing and i thought it wasn't very good at all. the only good thing was despite paying for a mere five dollars for a weekend ticket, we managed to get good seats and a free popcorn plus two drinks for a pair only!
followed by taking neoprints which we haven't done for so long. nowadays, neoprints can be infra-reded into our handphones too! we were playing with it and drawing stuff sending them to our hps. aren't they cute! we took quite a while to draw this.

today was friday the thirteen! nothing very bad happened except madam's train arrived a few seconds earlier than me! this is abnormal cos usually mine will always arrive earlier than hers.haha.my day was fruitful.
went for our lunch at pastamania and finally fufilled my cravings for pizza after so long! yay. shared the chicken and pineapple pizza with madam! it was rather filling for both of us.
after that we went for kboxing in the afternoon. the intended session for us was five hours. yet they were rather nice to extend us till about one and the half hours more in the end. we ended up singing most of the songs we wanted to and it was super hilarious esp. with the duet songs. my lousy singing of the word 'romeo' and inability to change from a high pitch to low pitch voice led to much laughter from both of us. hahas.
sang our childhood and favourite songs which made us very happy despite our out of tune singing at times embarrassing ourselves! singing is actually quite a fun activity and form of de-stress too at times.
overall it was a fun and fufilling day eating and doing one activity i longed for after so long! yays. looking forward to more outings during the coming week of freedom =)
on a darker note, karen is leaving later during midnight to australia. a pity i can't send her off and she doesn't want pple to. i will really miss her! come back during dec and visit me k! take care girl.

my last day of work.my day was started early in the morning meeting darling wy and grace for macs breakfast! had my fav. hotcakes plus sausage and we actually managed to sit there and chat for about two hours without realising time has flew by quickly. day started off great.
work was fine until the end of the day which was supposed to be happy, ended up quite stressful due to an unpleasant situation which kind of involved me. had to recall wat happened a few days back which was quite difficult for me but i am guilty of doing something wrongly unknowingly. while i was sort of blaming myself for such a situation, my manager actually called. i thought she wanted to ask about this incident, yet she told me her main purpose was to thank me for working here all this while and touched me when she said that i improved alot! yays. when i heard wat she said, i was quite touched that she went to the extent to thank me from her mouth which i can hardly imagine actually. the comforting words that she didn't blame me and didn't want me to stress myself over this incident really comforted me alot.
she's a manager whom i looked upon to alot. although many a times she humbly thinks that she's not a very good manager, but to me, she's a good one. tat's why i think she deserves to be the only female store manager among the many branches. her qualities of knowing when to be strict and serious, yet motherly and understanding at times, make me admire her. it is not an easy task though. i am really thankful for her understanding of my situations on many occasions, i cannot imagine not having her manager like her =)
i guess i will still miss my colleagues to a certain extent.
the laughter they bring to me esp. since i seldom smile with their lame or cold jokes, keeping me less bored during work. their often teasing of me doing funny things tat really make you feel fury yet not the extent of really being angry. i am perhaps just immuned to them, knowing its juz for fun. the number of nicknames given to me are uncountable ranging from skinny, skelly, snail, wandering spirit etc.
being a server and being a customer is indeed a different experience. now i can understand and be conscious of the way i act when dining at other places. i realised that kitchen and service are in a way interconnected. i never expected that a normal server will mingle much with the pple in the kitchen but through working here, i made friends with them and their usual cheerfulness never failed to make me laugh.
in the past, i didn't realised i would stay to this job for such a long period of time. i donno wat kept me going but i guess its largely the pple there. to me, a familiar environment is the key to my survival. i hate the feeling of being put into a totally stranger environment and getting to know everything and everyone from scratch. yet, i still have to go through another round when i start school next mth facing the same situation again.
throughout this period, i changed from being a really quiet girl when i did not know anyone to someone more outspoken, talkative and playful at times. from a girl whom couldn't hold a tray properly, i can do it better now although not perfect. i learnt a skill afterall.
it seemed so fast that six mths have just flew by. i am actually quite thankful being able to be posted to this branch where the pple are nice compared to some branches which i have heard awful things about. although there are still some internal conflicts and politics going on sometimes, i guess this is juz part and parcel of working life. no matter which line or job you go to, this situation will still exist.
i guess i did learn some things during this period. being tolerant at times. never judge a book by its cover. learning to be more tidy and neater yet fast and accurate. be sensitive to pple's feelings.
thankfully despite all the 'threatening' things they wanted to do like smashing my face with cakes, engine oil and so on, they didn't do it on me eventually! hahas.
all in all, i will rmb the memories =)
work ended later than usual due to some matters that needed me to stay on and settle and thus i had to rush off to meet baos excluding phil to prepare for her surprise birthday at her house! amelia drove us to her house and to my horror, my nose started to bleed upon raching her house. wat a horrible timing to begin with. luckily i stopped after a while before phil arrived. we blindfolded her till her house block and celebrated her bdae with her present and a cake where the candle suddenly extinguished when it reached the table. was rather hilarious at the point of time.haha. chatted a while till almost midnight before nice amelia drove us back home to my doorstep! it is actually quite exciting to have friends driving you home, and when there's no public transport at night, they can send you home safely =)
the night also ended with a bad news that my ex-conductor passed away recently. kind of got a shock when i heard it from twin. he was a really nice and patient person to us and me also. i never remembered him scolding me despite my lousy skills when i was a newbie. hope he will rest in peace and i will keep him in my heart and remember him.
today was a rather confusing day with good and bad events that happened.

monday:
woke up early in the morning to meet twin to watch fantastic four! it was quite nice i would say and i thought i enjoyed it although it could be better too. oh ya we saw so many young pple at the cinemas because today was youth day, which made us feel that we are so old already. looking at them reminds us of our younger days. hahas. at least my morning blues were gone with the great morning spent before going to work =)
today:
off day was spent with darling wy and grace! they queued up early for the donuts at donut factory! got one dozen for me!love them! yays. the donuts were so pretty. haha. 
great company at sizzler's lunch set meal which was super filling with buffet like salad bar and sundae ice cream diy! its the first time i like salads as there was a large variety which included those i don't mind eating like the yummy tuna potato salad!
i guess i will miss them when all of us go different schools.
on a random note, its sort of one week left before i am stopping work. shall try to enjoy this week working perhaps. haha. anyway its time to be relaxed and truly enjoy the short three weeks before the end of our freedom. somehow, i dread the coming school term.
