finally back from thailand after a month. time really flies. i still rmbed thinking how i could survive the long trip. in 2-3 days, my luck was really bad- my most important camera sort of spoilt, sandals and backpack broke. luckily things turn better after these bad days. overall, coming back to singapore, i still feel weird perhaps due to one mth being immersed in a different environment- mountains, hills, valleys, caves, mangroves, beaches etc. i really love the clouds in thailand, they really look so pretty esp when i was on the plane, can see it so clearly. you can really feel so relaxed in these places, away from
the bustling life like singapore.
also, the company also makes a difference. i am used to sleeping and gossiping at 3/4am, shouting your register no almost every morning, washing laundry, eating meals in places where cats and dogs roam about, going 7-eleven cum eating my favourite sausages, eating overdose of snacks like pocky and lays chips taking transport like songtel tat you would never see in singapore, braved the storm taking all kinds of transport for long long hours to our destination. memorable incident being chased by a persistent dog with roomie due to us being ignorant and eating meat on the streets, thanks to the locals who saved us, otherwise i donno wat will happen to us? we will running for our lives the moment we could.
the experience is a really different one, and its definitely enriched me, learning things that textbooks cannot give. really enjoyed playing with the kids, they really are the ones tat made my day. i really learnt alot in many aspects through interactions, gossips and projects, both positively and negatively. being independent, away from my usual hp, internet and televisions etc are really the things i am proud of myself.
thanks to roomie for withstanding my rantings, untidiness etc. i miss the night gossips we have late in the night although we were veri tired.
left singapore with a really pleasant surprise from my BABAs plus kuanyee. thanks pple for coming specially down after work to give me a surprise and send me off! really appreciate it alot. it really ended my day happy =)
