fri:work was fine today except i was rather moody towards the end. no idea why also. juz didn't feel like talking much. anyway twin and kuanyee visited and ate here today! haven't seen ky for ages! great seeing her and she offered me some famous amos cookies! thanks girl! they were trying to offer me food in the midst of work but it was hard to do that so i didn't. sheryl and bernice also passed by and said hi to me too =)
mon:
sort of mon blues for me this week cos i was attached to another branch for work for a day which i reluctantly went. an unfamiliar environment feels that i am back to first day at work at my branch. the ppl were actually quite friendly towards me and that made it better. but still the uncomfortable feeling still exist since its my first day knowing them afterall. managed to talk to them and listen to their nonsense as well.hahas. suddenly i missed the pple at my workplace. now i understand how i take things for granted sometimes and i should treasure them now before i regret in the future. thanks riz for guiding me out of the place to the mrt station since i was rather unfamiliar around the place. the best thing that brightened my day was the surprise visit from joyce! i thot she was joking about visiting me =)
did i mention how fat i am going to grow judging from my huge appetitite now with cakes almost everyday. they are tempting and since i started to work, i started to eat alot more than before. bleah. work perhaps used out more energy of my body than before. i started to feel hungry after work and began to indulge in supper recently. at this rate, i guess i am going to get fatter.
thurs:
started to learn bar today and learnt some new drinks although some were quite badly done. so much to memorise and it feels weird to memorise like studying once again. seems too long since i last touched books. anyway glad to have patient manager to help me along and encouraging me. i will learn as fast as i can. its a new experience and kind of fun too.
fri:
after so long, my long awaited off day was here again! managed to meet up with fengyi after so so long like at least two years after we graduated from pl! didn't managed to talk much to her the other time she visited me with ty. glad we could make it and caught up with one another today for lunchie! tried my first time at xin wang restaurant and they really sell almost everything that you want which made me have a tough decision. but the food was not bad though. then we left for some window shopping and frappucino coffee at starbucks at cathay after that. she was nice to wait for me as long as she could while waiting for grace and wy.
after meeting them, we left for dinner at swensons! i was so full that i decided to eat ice cream instead and it was great since i haven't ate ice cream for so long.hahas. i still miss my gelare ice cream with waffles. thinking of it is so tempting. hope i can eat soon. anw after grace left earlier, wy and i went shopping and we bought heels, one of the pair she bought was the same design and color as me! yay =)
visited twin at her workplace and she gave me a box of yummy sandwich. thanks girl for always hearing me and sharing your nice stuff with me =)
sometimes i am really glad i can meet my dear friends esp. during my off days and everyone tries to make an effort to treasure the times we meet up and catch up with one another. working has made me no life anymore. everyday its juz work eat and sleep. i think i have lost contact with many also due to my unpredictable schedules clashing with others as well. its easy to lose friendships along the way when everyone is busy and no one bothers to make and effort to continue the friendship. it may be broken along the way so i will try to treasure every friendship that i have and hope it will continue on. thanks pple for making my days more enjoyable with your presence when we meet up. without you all, my life will be more boring and dull.
