so this year's national day spent in school was not really a celebration like the past few years in primary and secondary school. national day in those days were fun and exciting esp. when everyone starts to sing the national day songs together and hold the flag!hahas.
somehow i love singing national day songs! perhaps they are pretty catchy and we have been singing since young. they are rather nice. i missed those days where there were dances accompanied by it and the whole school just does it together.
i missed the days, the spirit is just so different compared to now. those times were definitely memorable, no matter what occasions they were. memories are meant to be kept in our heart always.

anyway this year's national eve in school was spent collecting newspapers for cip.it was rather slack as the buildings we were assigned to were rather short! finished collecting rather quickly. it seems very weird to celebrate national day in this manner. perhaps contributing to the society...
